An update of the old saying could be: If you can’t beat ’em, invite ’em into your classroom!

The Facebook phenomenon has become so big, the term has even found its way into the dictionary (to be exact, the 2008 edition of the Collins English Dictionary). And if your students are going to be spending a large part of their day on Facebook (see teenagers Facebook statistics), it makes sense to try to reach out to them via this platform, especially if you consider how wired they are these days with their laptops, tablet computers and smartphones.

Here are seven ways schools can adopt Facebook to achieve a constructivist classroom and enhance learning.
